3 Definitions & Eligibility
- “LIA” means Lakewood International Academy and its related entities.

- Eligibility: You must be capable of forming a binding contract under South African law or have consent from a parent/guardian.

If you create an account (e.g., on LIA Portal), you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services lawfully. You may not:
- Post, upload, or share content that is defamatory, obscene, harmful, infringing, or illegal;

6 Intellectual Property

7 User Content & License
If you submit content (e.g., forms, comments, assignments), you grant LIA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, host, reproduce, and display such content solely to operate, protect, and improve the Services. You warrant that you have rights to the content you submit.

The Services may contain links to third-party sites. LIA is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Visiting third-party sites is at your own risk.

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa for disputes arising out of or related to these Terms.

We may enhance or modify features from time to time. If a change materially reduces core functionality, we will take reasonable steps to inform users where practicable.

LIA strives to make our Services accessible. If you encounter barriers or wish to lodge a complaint, please contact us (details below). We aim to acknowledge and respond within reasonable timeframes.
16 General
- Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
- No Waiver: Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding the Services.
