FOUNDATION PHASE
At Lakewood International Academy, the Foundation Phase team takes a holistic approach to education. Learners are engaged through stimulating academics as well as purposeful and enriching activities, ensuring their school days are both enjoyable and educational. This blended approach creates a balance between academic learning and physical stimulation, promoting a well-rounded experience.
The environment is dynamic, multicultural, and supportive, with small class sizes where educators provide each learner with individual attention. At Lakewood International Academy, each learner is known, supported and guided within a close-knit school community.

Orientation
During the first two weeks of the academic year, Grade 1 learners participate in the school-readiness programme. Parents receive an Orientation Guide and are invited to a welcome meeting in January.
